“A naked man’s exploits with the merino ram statue at Omarama will result in a court appearance.
Senior Constable Bruce Dow said he saw a young man drop his trousers and straddle the statue about 12:20am on Saturday. The man later reappeared “absolutely starkers” to repeat the act.
The 18-year-old man from Omakau will be summonsed to appear in the Omararu District Court on a charge of offensive behavior.”
